VFX Year 2

I am still unsure on what I am going to do after college. There are various options such as University, or an apprenticeship. What I do know is that I want to do something that specializes in 3D. 
 

Escape Studios:

​

Escape studios (Based in London) provides a variety of courses such as visual effects, games, animation and motion graphics. It also has degree apprenticeships for the courses. They have great facilities and equipment for students and use industry standard software like Maya. The studio has it's own YouTube channel that showcases a lot of there show-reels. All of it is top tier work. If I want to aim for the this for the future, I will need to get better at working and communicating with a team of artists, because projects created at a studio are almost always grouped based.

Bournemouth University:

​

Bournemouth University is particularly renowned for its media courses. It is recognized as the only Centre for Excellence in Media Practice in the UK. Its former students have gone on to work on numerous award-winning productions in Hollywood, on films such as Gravity, Star Wars, Gladiator and Lord of the Rings. The only problem is that Bournemouth is really far away, although it does have accommodation. If I want to end up going here after college I need to work on my planning process
